Taught in Arabic — The Traditional Way
Our teachers conduct lessons in Arabic — the same way the Quran has been transmitted for 1,400 years. You listen, repeat, and get corrected. No translations, no shortcuts. This is how the Sahaba learned, how the Tabi'een learned, and how every link in the chain has learned.

Why I Started Sanad Hifz
I searched for quality Hifz education for my own family. I wanted teachers who weren't just good reciters, but scholars with ijazah — an unbroken chain back to the Prophet ﷺ.
I found them in Libya — a country known for producing more huffadh per capita than almost anywhere on Earth. Teachers who had memorised the Quran, mastered its sciences, and dedicated their lives to passing it on.
Sanad Hifz exists to connect UK families with these scholars. Not apps. Not videos. Real teachers, real transmission, real sanad.

سَنَد
What is Sanad?
In Islamic scholarship, Sanad means the chain of transmission — an unbroken link of teachers going back to the Prophet ﷺ himself. It's how the Quran has been preserved, word for word, for over 1,400 years.
Connected
Your teacher learned from their teacher, who learned from theirs — all the way back to the Prophet ﷺ
Authentic
Our teachers hold ijazah — a certificate proving this unbroken chain of transmission
Certified
Upon completion, you too can receive ijazah — joining this 1,400-year chain
"مَن قَرَأَ القِرآنَ وتَعَلَّمَهُ وعَمِلَ بِهِ، أُلبِسَ والِداهُ يومَ القيامَةِ تاجًا مِن نُورٍ ضَوْؤُهُ مِثلُ ضَوءِ الشَّمسِ
"Whoever reads the Quran, learns it, and acts upon it — his parents will be crowned with light on the Day of Judgment, its radiance like the sun."
No Obligation After Assessment
The assessment is designed to see if we're the right fit for each other. If it's not right for you, there's no pressure to continue.
Questions
Before enrolling, every student completes an assessment (3 sessions). We evaluate makharij, tajweed level, and learning pace to create the right plan. The £25 fee is credited to your first month if you enrol.
Ijazah is a certificate showing an unbroken chain of transmission back to the Prophet ﷺ. Our teachers learned from someone who learned from someone else — all the way back 1,400 years. This is how the Quran has been preserved.
Every teacher holds ijazah with an unbroken chain (sanad) back to the Prophet ﷺ. They have dedicated their lives to mastering Quran recitation and tajweed.
